draught at Oberpfälzer Hof. Hazy orange-golden colour, big off-white head. Full-bodied, grainy malt flavours, lovely resiny-grassy hop flavours with a touch of lemon. Smooth palate. The perfect Zoigl - delicious!

Süßlicher und süffiger Antrunk mit leicht herben noten. Leider wössrig werdend, die Getreidigkeit kann dies aber wieder egalisieren. Nicht sehr tiefgründig aber sehr erfrischend. 10/9/10/9//10

Hazy orange with a large off white head. First pour after the siesta. Aroma had malt, vegs and and hints of hops. Fairly dry flavour with floral hops, malt and vegs. Finished dry and somewhat bitter.

Draught at the Oberpfälzer Hof: Golden, hazy, lasting medium-sized white foam; relatively dry distinctive hoppy and yeasty nose; light to medium bodied; moderate dry bitter-sweet flavour; distinctive hops in the fruity and yeasty finish. Moreish.......

Tap at Oberpfälzer Hof. Yeast and lemon malt aroma. Golden yellow color with moderate head. Slightly sweet barley malt and dry lemon flavor. Nicely blended. Subdued but very nice.

Draugh at Oberpfälzer Hof, Windischeschenbach. Hazy pale amber, rich creamy head. Grassy nose. Dry despite underlying malt sweetness with soft mouthfeel and light-medium body. Lightly minerally with complimentary grassy hops and lingering bitterness. tasty and hugely refreshing. Perfect in it’s simplicity!

Light haze. Amber-straw colour. Thick, collapsing head. Yeasty aroma with herbal hop. Fizziest zoigl of the day, with a maltier accent. More minerally in character than the others, which I did not favor, but that may have been the way it came across the palate given the extra carbonation. A bit thin.

Draught at the hotel. Cloudy orange colour. Small white head. The flavour is OK malty, low bitterness. Hint of fruit.
