Bottle. Color: Hazy brownish amber, beige head. Aroma: Dark malt, wheat, chocolate, caramel. Where is the banana? Taste: Roasted malt, dark malt, wheat, chocolate, caramel. Only hints of banana. A little more banana at the finish, but still less than expected on base of the name of this beer. Medium body, just below average carbonation. Different from other weizenbock beers I've had. Good.

Bottle, Bierkiste. Cloudy brown golden lace. Bright spicy peppery nose, ripe bananas, whiskey, dry clove, cocoa. Medium full dry chewy body, some foaminess. Nice banana and chocolate chip base flavour, scotch whiskey notes, cocoa nibs, dry, not cloying sweet and not artificial banana. Very different from the usual Weizenbock fare, neat!

Hazy orange brown beer with a beige head. Aroma of ripe banana, caramelized banana, yeast, strong wheat malt. Taste of mid sweet riped banana, caramel, strong wheat malt, hints of coffee.

Bottle at Bierkiste München sat outside, off to a gig by Ditz tonight at Milla, Friday 16th June 2023. Pours dark murky brown with an off-white head. The nose is as expected, some banana but also toffee and chocolate and maybe caramel. Nice mouthfeel the carbonation is good. Tastes great very nice interplay between yeast and the banana and a little cocoa flavour showing. There is a pleasant fruity tang, this is a very good Dunkler Weizenbock.

Röstiger Geruch, Kaffee. Milde Süße, weich röstig mit Aromen von Schokolade und Kaffee. Im Mittelteil zusätzlich hefig, reife Banane ohne zu starke Süße, sehr weiche Bitterkeit. Harmonisch, cremig, langer Nachhall, dazu weniger Alkohol als gedacht. Gut! 12/11/13/12/9/12

Trübe orange bräunliche Farbe mit weißer Schaumkrone. Hefiger, malziger, fruchtiger Geruch. Geschmacklich hefig, malzig, fruchtig mit Banane und Kakao. Hohe Süße mit leichter Bitterkeit, voller Körper mit spürbarer Kohlensäure.

Bottle. Murky dark orange to brown color with creamy eggshell head. Aroma is dark wheat, with bananas and some cloves but also some of the cocoa. Taste is indeee chocolate covered banana, sweetish, works well, real cocoa flavours here too. Soft mouthfeel, rather high but soft carbonation. Surprising.
