Black Bird is Bird's Golden Classic. It smells fresh and slightly acidic with hops, and it is also the hops that give the beer the distinctive taste - dry with a discreet hint of fruit. Dark Münchner malt is the main ingredient in Black Bird, which instead of "classic" can also be termed an under-fermented lager beer.

Amber brown, small head. Aroma is malty with rubber and ash. Medium-bodied. Basicly malty dominated beer, but with notes of hard water and sugar. Bitter (harsh) hoppy finish. Kind of on/off lager with a bit of sweetness to be classified as a vienna. This brew has similarities with Finnish macro Christmas beers.

Dark yellow, white head. Metallic aroma. Flavour is slightly sweet and quite bitter, bordering on a harsh bitterness. Closer to a "classic" style lager than Vienna.

The aroma is sweet and malty with notes of caramel and straws. The color is amber and it has a beutiful head. The flavor is also sweet and malty with notes of caramel and straw - somewhat simple. A nice but a little light version of a Vienna.

Light copper. Aroma of alcohol, phenols (band-aid), gasoline. Same flavours, with grainy notes. High gravity brewing at its worst. A total drain pour.
