Bottle at 3F. Rich’s 50th do. Hazed, slightly dirty gold. Very decent lasting white foam. Lovely floral herb here. Soggy leather. Mineral. Taste is semi sweet with a modicum of tartness. Dry and lean on the palate. Light tart finish. Went particularly well with a fatty sausage and some salty nuts.

Pours darker, cloudy blonde. no real head. Scent is mild, less expressive than expected after seeing how much it amped up the german oak in the blend. Taste is tart, dry, not very expressive, to my surprise. Fullbodied geuze, dry tart ending. Not bad alt all, just less specific than expected. Tad tannic.
