OK, this is my first rating. I picked this beer because I absolutely love this beer. Unfortunately, it is not available in our area anymore. I pray they bring it back. Anyway, It pours a dark color. Almost black, but dark amber when held up to the light. It has a pleasant roasted malt taste with just the right amount of bitterness. Alas, poor Bath Beer. I will miss you.

Deep dark brown, almost opague. Roasted malt and anis in the aroma. Pours a huge head. Soft malty sweet flavor with anis and mint. Roasted malt. Looks a bit like a Belgian sweet stout, but I like this beer better.

Õlle on selline jook, et iga uus kord kui klaasi või pudeli suule tõstad, siis leiad midagi uut, sõltuvalt tuhandest-miljonist pisiasjast, mis hetke olukorda mõjutavad. Seega piirdun iga õlle juures selle tekstiga.

From the bottle. Dark brown with a frothy tan head that soon exits. Aroma is toast, chocolate with a subtle whiff of berries. Taste is mildly bitter with notes of coffee and toast, but accompanied by sweeter milk chocolate notes that give the needed balance. Dry and crisply bitter at the end, but also quite grainy. Body is medium to light, carbonation moderate, texture is oily. Overall, not bad.

Flasche in der Brauerei gekauft. Dunkles Braunm, fast Schwarz, eher trüb, angemessener Schaum, kaum sprudelnd. Starkes Aroma nach kaltem Kaffee und dunkler Schokolade. Geschmack: Bitterschokolade, etwas Zitrine. Angenehmer Abgang mit Bitterschokolade. Cremig.

13th May 2017: Hamm Bierbörse. 500ml bottle at the breweries stall/bar. Dark brown, deep beige coloured topping. Malts all the way here, coffee and chocolate notes in the nose and taste, semi-sweet throughout, without being sickly or overly cloying.

Bottle courtesy of Roberta Reganati. Il gusto al naso riconosce l'orzo. L'intensità olfattiva è normale e la persistenza olfattiva è sufficiente. Il cappello di schiuma di colore marrone chiaro ha una scarsa tenuta. La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. La carbonazione è media. Il colore è marrone scuro. Il corpo è strutturato. Il dolce è medio in buon equilibrio con l'amaro medio. L'intensità gustativa è elevata e la persistenza gustativa è sufficiente. Il gusto è piacevole. Le sensazioni boccali finali sono di facile beva. Il finale è pulito e dissetante. Il retrogusto è di media intensità. Sul palato arrivano sentori di caramello, miele, crosta di pane e liquirizia.

Bottle from Keller meister, Lincoln. Deep Ruby brown with a tan head light hoppy and roasted malt aroma. Mild taste. Very drinkable.
