[Thanks to fonefan]. 50cl bottle Black beer with a frothy, large, smooth and creamy tan head. Aroma has notes of smoked and toasted malts. Flavour is toasty, roasty, moderate licorice hints, wood, smooth and burnt malts notes. The final is slightly bittery dominating the toasted malts. Carbonation is medium. Body is medium to high. 50cl bottle, BBE 01.11.2012. Poured almost black with a creamy, beige head that quickly disappeared. Roasted, slightly burnt malty aroma, also some sweet fruityness. Flavor is roasted malt, old coffee. Dry finish.

Bottle from The Grove Huddersfield. Not expecting this to be super fresh as they were selling it off cheap. Black with dark brown edges and thick dark beige head. Its a decent schwarz not too sweet. Some ok malts. Its fine. Easy drinking and in fact what you could call mild.

50 cl bottle @ home, BBE 01.11.2012
Back label has BBE text in Finnish and Sweden. However, the BBE marking is not there but on the front label.
Aroma is malty and a bit grainy with chocolate, coffee and hints of metal. Flavour has coffee and chocolate with hints of metal that becames stronger in the finish. Some caramel also occurs at the end of the glass. Nice schwartz, but the metalliness disturbs a bit.
