Humongous stein imbibed at Tivoli Gardens, Copenhagen. Dark amber pour with a white head. Toffee malt nose with some orchard fruit. Soft flavours of raisin and dark fruit. Malty finish. Does the job.

Can from random DK supermarket - amber pour with white head. Aroma and taste is just big heavy sweet caramel malty, slight metallic, highly carbonated. Your typical mass produced macro brew.

After bicycling around in the northern part of Denmark some hot summer days I really appreciated this uncomplicated thirst quencher a lot. It’s widely available everywhere from gas stations to small ice cream kiosks. Otherwise I realize it’s just another industrial lager. Same color, same aroma and same flavor as all the rest of them. Not worse and not better, but a welcoming companion for me this week. A safe choise.

On tap in front of Føtex in Sønderborg. Pours clear amber with airy but stable off-white head. Clear aroma of malt with notes of caramel and a faint metallic touch. Sweetish, yeasty flavour with notes of malt and a heavy metallic aftertaste. Cheap and popular but nothing impressive.

Dark gold body with modest head, aroma of slight caramel but plenty of wateriness and fermented seaweed in there. The flavour is totally different - lots of sugary nuttiness with a dry finish. Pretty good, but they need to work on that aroma.
