This beer is a lighter version of our Oude Rhubarbe Tilquin à l'ancienne. Same recipe with 250gr fresh rhubarb per liter, but lighter in alcohol, due to the use of a blend of 50% of Meerts and 50% of 1 and 2 years old lambics.

#lambiclauantai. Funky, slightly vinous and stuffy with hints of rhubarb juice, tartness and mild sourness, faint vibes of apples and cidery vibes. A bit light bodied.

Draught at Lauter, almost no head whatsoever, quite clear gold colour, aroma of oak, horse sweat, tropical fruits and vinous notes, quite sour and lactic, some apple behind, hint of sewer. Nice, enjoyable and quite complex.

Tap at Indewildeman, 16th July 24. Pours off clear and golden. Aroma is tart fruits, dry hops. Taste is tart, rhubarb, sour and dry, light smoke earthy, I agree with previous raters - don’t be an arse and rate it if you don’t like the style - not fair

Keg at 73 Enid Street, 12/04/24. Moderately hazed golden orange with an off white cap that clears edgewards. Nose is tarte rhubarb, funk, pissy notes, damp cloth, barnyard. Taste comprises rhubarb stalk, hay bale, lemon rind, hedgerow, damp hay, funk, acidic rise. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a good acidic level. Why waste money and 10 minutes of your life for a tick if you know you don't like sour beers ... fucktard ticking at its very dumbest! Top drawer lambic.

Saturday 20th April 2024, third of a pint in The Boot. Misty, hazed golden body, wispy head. I struggled to finish this to be honest, I found it too tart for my palate, it's a proper sour Rhubarb Lambic and some will love it.

Keg @ The Boot, Wellington. Hazed golden orange, thin white ring atop. Some rhubarb fruit coming through on the nose. Distinctly tangy from the off with mellow rhubarb and a crisp acidic bite. Not bad.
