This sour wheat beer is made with organic whole grains - barley, wheat and oats. We added seaweed following the boil for seasoning and texture, and then soured the unhopped wort with lactobacillus before leaving the batch to ferment.

This beer is as natural as it gets - fully organic, unfiltered and unpasteurised. Lemony sour, with a salty, mineral finish.

Can picked up at the brewery. It pours ever so slightly hazy straw yellow with a small white head. The aroma is salty, savoury, crackers, zingy, lemon - lime, gooseberry, damp, grain, leafy and a splash of white wine vinegar. The taste is crisp, dry, snappy, bright, zingy, puckering, kick of acidity, more sourness than I had I expected, lemon - lime, sherbet, tangfastics, cheap white wine, definitely has a green seaweed vibe going on, tannin, damp grain and straw with a dry, sherbety finish. Average body and moderate, prickly. Quite bright and zingy. Quenching stuff.

Can from Cork & Cask, Edinburgh. Pours yellow gold with a a dissipating white cap. Extremely lively, big gusher on opening. Very spritzy mouthfeel. Moderate tart & dry with tangy citrus and a salty finish. Nice palate cleanser
