25 March 2023. At Innis & Gunn, Edinburgh. Shared with the lovely Anke!
A: hazy yellow, small, foamy, white head.
A: ripe mango, pineapple, mandarin, lychee, sweat, pine.
T: sweet mango & mandarin, sourish lime zest, bread.
F: piney hops, bit floral, subtle citrus pith & bitter mango.
P: medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation.
Oh so fresh from tap, but distinctly Pale Ale-like.

Draft. A hazy golden beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of peaches, citrus fruits, hops, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of citrus fruits, peaches, hops, and malt, leading to a bitter finish.

Can from Appellation Wines. Appearance - cloudy lemon yellow. Snow white, fluffy head. Nose - pineapple and mango as the description says. Probably more, mango skin. Taste - mango skin, then mango fruit. Bitter underripe end of pineapple but still very drinkable. Palate - light to medium bodied, creamy middle and balanced bitterness on the finish. Overall - absence of bitter green hop note this time, so good.
