A blended golden sour ale with raspberries, citrus zest and orange blossoms.
This one was started on 7/2019 with two golden bases brewed in 12/2015 and 6/2017. Re-fermented on a few hundred pounds of raspberry, orange zest, grapefruit zest, pink lemon zest and whole limequats. In 10/2019 the beer was separated from the fruit and blended with two honey mixed culture saisons, brewed in 5/2016 and 5/2017. This blend was soaked overnight with lime zest and orange blossoms before packaging. Bottle conditioned another 7 months.
Taste is like a raspberry limeade with raspberry up front, followed by citrus on the finish (mostly lime). Acidity is a bit more than most of our recent releases. If you were a fan of Bellywasher from late 2017, you will probably like this one.

Poured @ MBCC 2023 (finally adding my notes). Hazy dull gold with small white head. Funky tartness, orange zest, feint raspberry, a bit tart.

Bottle pour at MBCC 2023, pours a cloudy bright pink with a small white head. Aroma brings out floral blossom notes, light orange, citrus zest and oak. Flavour is acidic, with lots of citrus zest, orange blossoms and light oak. Too acidic for me and lacking complexity. It's alright.
