On tap at TapRoom - North Park, pours a deep dark mahogany with a beige head. Aroma has mostly fermented out honey, light cocoa, and bready malt. Flavour is quite subtle for an almost 11% brew: there's soft dry cocoa, mostly fermented out honey, and bready malt. Really lovely incorporation of the honey, and the base malt character is excellent.

Tap @MBCC2023, Blue Session. Very dark brown, beige head. Woody, caramely aroma. Sweet flavour, woody caramel, bitter roasted malt.

On tap @taproom while I wait for my seat at Pomegranate. Dark copper brown pour, extra lacy. Boozy brandy nose over some chocolate malt in the nose. Bittersweet, residual honey texture, slight caramel-y brightness, lingering sugar char, weak malt doughiness, a touch of pepper, breakfast cereal sweetness. Kinda good.
