Poured from the tap @ MBCC 2023 green session (finally adding my notes). Very dark brown with beige head. Nice bourbon barrel, dried fruit, caramel, nice.

Old rating from notes. A good barleywine even with the bourbon addition. Sweet and heavy on the palate, notable alcohol and minimal carbonation. Caramel and spices, dried fruit.

Dark black body medium creamy tan head. Toffee caramel raisin rum fruity aroma. Toffee caramel raisin fruit molasses flavor. Full body low carbonation. 9/5/9/4/17 4.4

Aroma: oak barrels, raisins, liquorice and burnt caramelly malts. Taste: dried fruits, dark chocolate, raisins and some coffee malts. Thick and boozy mouthfeel. Next one please!

Draught @ Mikkeller Beer Celebration Copenhagen 2023 (MBCC). Sweet and syrupy with loads of prunes, toffee, figs, barrel and caramel. Intense and thick.

MBCC 2023. Coffee bean color, decent ivory lacing. Nose: dried fruit, leather, whiskey, passito. Mouth: vanilla biscuit, lovely charming dried fruits, mild bitter finish. Work of art.
