Der Höhepunkt für jedes Fest
Unser Bier für den absoluten Kenner. Eine Erinnerung an alte Traditionen. Im 16. und 17. Jahrhundert durfte Bier nur von Michaeli (29. September) bis Georgi (23. April) gebraut werden. Deshalb wurde ab März ein stärkeres und damit haltbareres Bier gebraut, das sogenannte Märzen, das bis in den Herbst hinein im Alltag und bei den Festen genossen wurde. Diesen Ursprung will unser Märzen nicht leugnen. Ein leuchtendes, bernsteinfarbenes, vollmundiges, malziges Bier. Sehr süffig. Der Höhepunkt für jedes Fest!

Bottle, courtesy of fonefan. A clear, golden beer with a finger-thick white head. Malty nose with some fruity, hoppy scents. Sweet initial flavor, but it dries up nicely, a pity the flavor is so uninteresting. Decent bitterness showing up towards the end. Mostly grainy flavor though. It wouldn’t be a problem downing a few of these, but I don’t feel an urge to do so. 100814

Dark golden with a lasting white head. Fine and clean malty aroma of grain and bread, with a grassy note. Sweet bread and caramel flavour.

Gyönyörű kis réz színárnyalata van. Eléggé carbonált, de nem kezdi ki a szájpadlást mégse. Kicsit vizes átlag. Könnyen iható. Édeskés.

Bottle @ Danish Summer Gathering, 2010. Pours clear golden with a white head. Straw, grass and hops. Dry and bitter flavor. Medium bodied. Dry hoppy end. Good.

Bottle 500ml. @ The Danish Summer Gathering, TTODRBSG10 - Ulfborg.Clear medium orange yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, hay, toasted, light to moderate hoppy, citrus. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100814]

clear yellow, small white head. aroma is faint fruity, oterwise dry and a little bit boozy. flavor is sweet malty, bitter hoppy balance. nice

Bottle, 5.3%. Mild grassy hop aroma. Clear dark golden colour. Small stable white head. Good malty flavour, very flavourful. Mild grassy hop flavour as well. Very clean and good.

Clear golden with a medium off white head. Malty nose with caramel and hints of hops. Flavor was sweet with toasted malt, caramel and grassy hops.

Bottle. Thanks pivnizub! Light aroma, a hint apple juice. Golden, fine bubbles, low head. Fruite entry, minerals, grassy dry balance, quick finish, light clementine retronasal. Medium to light body, less chewy than I expect from a Märzen.
