Dr. Jekyll travels through the multiverse. For this intergalactic trip through frozen planets, he layered 5 different grains. Barley, Wheat, Spelt, Oats and Rye make the foundation Stout. Orbiting around biscuit and coffee notes the beer goes to rest in negative temperatures. When it returns, it returns warm. Warming and comforting. Biscuit and coffee notes transform, concentrating what was good in great. It was a long expedition but a lifechanging one.

(Draught at Arendsnest, Amsterdam, 14 Aug 2025) Black colour with creamy, pale brown head. Malty, roasted, boozy nose with notes of coffee, chocolate, tar, peat and wood. Malty, boozy taste with strong black coffee, cacao, port wine, ashes, pine needles, tar, wood and a generous coffee/cacao bitterness. Full body, thick and oily mouthfeel. Quite sweet. Rich, heavy, boozy and tasty. Hardly balanced, but really tasty in moderate sipping amounts. Very nice.

TCBW2024. Black colour with a small brown head. Aroma is chocolate, some mild rye bready tones with alcohol and some mild chocolaty and coffeeish tones to it. Flavour is chocolate, some rye bread, mild coffeeish tones as well as some toffee and mild fudgey tones.

Can from BiervanEijk, Frederiksoord. Boozy and bitter with roasted malt, tar, espresso, dark chocolate, alcohol. Huge bitterness with a definite sweetness as well, but the booze and bitterness dominate.. Bold, over the top, a bit much, but you gotta respect its qualities. This is kinda to Eisbock what Archspire is to Technical Death Metal.

Chocolate, boozy & malt aroma. Sweet, blueberry, grain & rye tastes quickly change to bitter hop, coffee & winey tastes. Sipper.

Sample@TCBW2024. Opaque colour and tiny beige head. Toasted cocoa aroma. Full-bodied. Cocoa, roasted, some wood. Very robust. Hides abv.
