500ml bottle drank on the banks of the Mosel in Cochem on 8th September 2022. Nice clean and clear golden body, weak white head. Nothing to get excited about, but it was refreshing and not unpleasant; just a regular Helles really.

Bottle online from The Trembling Madness. Pours clear golden with a medium sized fluffy white head. Aromas of grains, hay and doughy white bread. Taste has more grains and bread, malty but with a light grassy hop on the finish. Also a slight metallic note. Medium body, fairly low carbonation and slightly oily mouthfeel. Average Helles

500ml bottle from HoTM. It pours clear pale yellow with a dissipating white head. The aroma is soft, sweet, grassy, damp herbs,cereal, grain, doughy bread vibes, brioche and biscuit. The taste is crisp, firmly dry, fairly sweet, doughy white bread, brioche, rich tea biscuit, soda water with a slice of lemon, grass and light herbal accents with a short, dry finish. Average body and fine, prickly carbonation. Simple, straight forward and drinkable stuff.

Klare goldene Farbe mit weißer Schaumkrone. Getreidiger, fruchtiger, malziger Geruch. Geschmacklich getreidig, leicht malzig, leicht fruchtig mit Citrus. Mittlere Süße mit mittlerer Bitterkeit, mittlerer Körper mit sanfter Kohlensäure.

Rosenheimer Helles, Flasche von Getränke Hoffmann, Berlin. - Hell goldgelb, blank. - In der Nase angenehmes, sortentypisch süßes helles Malz, Vanillezucker, dezente aber natürliche Zitrone, Kräuter. - Antrunk mild süßlich hellmalzig mit leichter, mild säuerlicher fruchtiger Note, die an Zitronenlimo erinnert. Durchschnittlich rezent, etwas dünn. Im Abgang leicht fruchtig-säuerlich aber kaum hopfenherb. - Trinkbares Helles, bei dem die Hopfung dank zitronig-fruchtiger Noten noch knapper ausfallen darf als sonst. Auf Dauer zu laff und dünn. (28.11.2019: 2,5 ) Auch bei Neuverkostung (im Weißen Rößl, Wasserburg) nur ein dünnes, labberiges Helles mit industriemäßiger, leicht künstlich zitroniger Hopfung. - Unterdurchschnittlich und eines gehobenen Restaurants nicht würdig. Ich hätte besser Wein bestellt. (9.5.2024.)

Bottle from Camping Stein, Nr Bad Endorf on Lake Simssee, Bavaria 28th June 2019. Pours very pale gold, crystal clear, with a large clean frothy white head atop. A little light lemon, perhaps a touch sweet and lacking depth. It's fine, okay it's a little bit safe and lacking in character but I like it.
