Pours clear, darker gold. Scent is mild, Taste is super smooth - malty, touch bitter; Lovely balance. Bitter-malty finish. Lovely, an ideal beer for cask serving indeed !

[Cask at the Market Inn, Bracknell.] A pale amber pour with a loose white head; tobacco leaf aroma; dry floral taste; and some sourness to finish. A very mediocre attempt at a celebration beer.

Cask at the Squirrel, Farnborough. Aroma has sweet caramel with light berries. Clear copper gold. Frothy translucent white head. Medium bodied. Slick. Soft carbonation. Long slightly astringent finish. Passable stuff. A 74 year old king may well enjoy it.

Cask at the Old Wagon and Horses, Ismere. Pours brown gold with a small head. Aroma is bready citrus and marmalade. Taste is bready citrus, tropical fruit and a touch of soap.

(Cask) Clear deep coppery brown with big smooth white head. Subtle caramel aroma smooth medium body with soft carbonation. Toffee with gentle herbal bitterness. Ok but pretty uninteresting.

On cask at George Hotel Langworth - clear amber body with a short white head. Grassy nose and taste not pleasant.
