Mild getreidig-malziger Antrunk. Die an sich angenehme Würze wirkt im Mittelteil verwässert, zudem nimmt sie recht schnell ab. Ein Mischmasch aus Hopfen, Getreide und Würze herrscht im Abgang. Test vom 28.8.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 8,6,7,5,7,6 - 6,25

Bottle. Nice orange amber with a golden head. Fat malt aroma - pretty much smells like raw malt with alight sour note. Lightbodied, papery malt base, a hint oranges, some citric and herbal hops. Bready finish, caramelized and light citric aftertaste. Chewy enough body.

Bottle, 6.5%. Clear dark copper colour. Small white head. The flavour is OK malty with some pepper in OK balance. Not powerful for a bock, but still good. Like a stronger Apoldaer 1806.

Deep golden to light amber coloured, small head, qickly diminishing; alcoholic nose, traces of sweet malt and honey detectable; slghtly sweetish flavour; short, sweet, a bit metallic finish. Absolutely not impressive; a quite bland BocK from the "DDR".........

(bottle) Clear pale amber colour with a minimal off-white foamy medium head. Sweet and toasty malt aroma, slightly honeyish and alcoholic. Sweet flavour, medium bodied, low to medium carbonated. Initially sweet malty and slightly toasty taste with shy hints of caramel, also slightly buttery; moderately sweet malty, light-hoppy and only slightly bitter finish. Rather bland Bock.
