Can at home in Hackney - picked up from HOTM. Pours clear gold with creamy, pure white head. Simple but rather enjoyable pils, nice bready-biscuity malts, nips of bitter straw, light dough, crackers, grass. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Nicely balanced finish, some cracked grains, doughy biscuits, mild grassy bitterness, dirty hay. Drinks pretty good.

Can from Lupe Pintos. Clear golden body with a white head. Lively carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of plain crisps and flower petals. Flavour of grass and herbs. Thin to medium body with a slick texture. Light fizz. A crisp, bitter beer. Highly drinkable. Another winner from Newbarns.

Can from LLBH. It pours crystal clear gold with a decent white cap. The aroma is fresh, fragrant, bready, biscuit, cereal, grain, soft underpinning sweetness, grass and earthiness. The taste is crisp, firmly dry, snappy, clean, some grassy bitterness which lingers throughout, herbal, cereal, pithy citrus, floral, waxy peel, touch of peppery spice, cracker and earthiness with a dry finish. Medium body and and fine, prickly carbonation. Really like it. Interesting, balanced moreish. A very well executed number.

Can from Appellation Wines. Appearance - golden with a light haze and a big flu Nose - citrus, porridge oats and hop spice. Taste - lemon going into orange. Brown bread backdrop. Again, Palate - light bodied, but maybe a touch fuller. Dry, spicy, hoppy finish. Overall - good beer.
