Out of the IPA sanctuary comes Ducks, a DDH IPA that delivers big time juicy lemon, lime, and grapefruit aroma. In relation to the rest of our flock, Ducks has a flavour intensity that sits somewhere in between our APA and our classic Burdock IPA. We dry-hopped Ducks with our freshest and punchiest hops – El Dorado, Idaho 7, Citra – and the result will send you gliding on winds of tangerine candy, honeydew melon, and citrus vitamin C tabs.

Can lcbo. Tasty citrus zest and pith, leaning toward grapefruit, resin with some hop burn. All over a mildly sweet malt base. Decent.

Can: Poured a hazy yellow color ale with a large white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of citrusy hoppy notes with some light tropical floral hops undertones. Taste is also a good mix of citrusy hoppy notes with some tropical juicy citrus hops notes and not much residual sugar and mostly dry finish. Body is pretty full with good carbonation. Easy drinking NEIPA with great drinkability.

Can at Ryan's
Murky pale blond colour. Aroma of zests, a bit dank. Dry, some wheat and oats base, a bit of starch; low bitterness, the hop has some zest character.
Pretty good.

12oz @ Ryan's shared with Farees and Alex. Appearance: cloudy blonde with a white head. Aroma: sharp and fresh, flowery. Taste: very bitter, grassy and flowery. Overall: harsh and bitter, not sure where is that juicy juicy aspect mentioned on the can.

Poured from 355mL can (pkg 08 May 2023). Hazy yellow with small white head. Mild citrus hops, some resin bitterness in the background, all around decent, but not a standout.

Can. I mean they tell me on the can to enjoy ducks and it's true. Wood ducks, widgeons, buffleheads and other fancy ducks are welcome winter visitors to these parts. Plus, I live around the corner from Wuhan Spicy Duck Neck, which sells only one product, and you can probably guess what it is. Ducks are quite the awesome creatures. This beer is opaque. The aroma has a bit of dankology, some alliesque leek notes, only a kiss of mandarin. So it smells like a Welshman smoking sketchy weed whilst drinking orange juice. The poor Welshman does not have access to the clean and bright strains we have over here. Tastes about that, too. Lowish bitterness, the malts are decent. Good things here, but maybe not as coherent as I'd prefer.

A hazed milky yellow ale with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, sweet fruity biscuit malt with resinous floral hops, grapefruit pulp, pleasant and smooth. In mouth, a nice biscuit malt with resinous floral hops, grapefruit pulp, light tropical fruits, light dank notes, pleasant. On tap at Cheshire Cat.

355ml can. Pours a hazy gold yellow with yeast particles that sink to the bottom and a medium, foamy, short lived, white head that laces. Sweet fruity aroma of bready wheat malt, grapefruit, pineapple, mango, papaya and floral hops. Sweet fruity flavour of bready wheat malt, tangerine, grapefruit, guava, pineapple, honeydew, peach, earthy yeast and piney hops in a dry, bitter finish. Medium body with an oily texture and soft carbonation. Juicy and delicious.
