Orange with a foamy, slow-gushing head. Orange peel aroma with a sweeter tone underneath that’s closer to vanilla than caramel. Taste is bitter with the finish following the aroma—full of citric bitterness with sweet caramel/vanilla around the edges. Medium-bodied, moderate carbonation. Good balance. Tasty.

440ml can. Minimally milky, yellow-ish, golden colour with huge, frothy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Resinous and fruity, hoppy aroma, pale malty background, notes of honeydew melon, some lychee, citrusy and grassy overtones. Taste is sweet-ish, pale malty and fruity, slightly citrusy, resinous and minimally grassy hoppy, hints of grapefruit and lemon, some melon and lychee; moderate hop bitterness, minimally papery (cryo) overtones. Oily texture, smooth and soft, simultaneously minimally dry palate, medium to fine, dense, foamy, mildly prickly carbonation. Well crafted, well balanced, homogeneous good.

Can shared. Almost clear golden. Caramel, resinous hops, dried apricots, grassy, grapefruit peels, light creamy. Lots of dried fruits and resinous hops with a sold malt base, medium sweet and quite bitter. Oily body. Good!

Can, thanks to Jonas, drunk while fans and heaters dry the spackle in our living room. Thinking of Max for sure, and other friends lost too soon. Barely-hazy gold, big head. Nose is citrusy, nice caramel, big aroma for a big man! Flavor is lots of caramel fading to bitterness, grapefruit and pine. Nice West Coaster to remember Max!

Can picked up from Bierkiste München and consumed at new house Manghlam, Innernzell, Bayerisch Wald Sunday 6th August 2023 listening to Peking Lights - Lucifer. We're cooking in the wood oven in the kitchen and cooking Mousakka. Pours hazy gold, large white head. A distinct tropical fruit touch from the off with a little bit of pineapple, I think that that this could be a bit more bitter and resinous but it's a very good beer. Raising a glass and thinking of Max as we sip this.

Can at the RBESG 23 and again, huge thanks Ryan for bringing these to the tasting! Hazy yellow-golden body, white head. Citric, resinous, soft, just lovely aroma. Lean, dry, very pleasant herbal, dank, nicely citric taste, ending pleasantly bitterish. A supremely drinkable, well made west coast IPA, again, a worthy beer for a great human being gone way too soon, cheers Max!
