Taster showing pitch black with very sparse caramel colored foam.
The nose shows moderately intense notes of toasted coffee and light notes of caramel.
The palate is lightly carbonated and light to medium bodied with a moderate alcoholic burn. Espresso forward with sparse toasted notes and a mild caramel sweetness with hints of vanilla followed by a strong espresso bitterness on the finish that goes quite a while.

05.31.2023, Surprising amount of chunks in the bottom of this bottle but the price is still good so no biggie. Nice strong and sweet espresso, chocolate notes, light bodied and hints of barrel.

12 oz. bottle, pours jet black with a tiny head. Aroma is loaded with intense espresso, bourbon barrels, and a little cocoa. Flavour is super rich, with intense espresso, cocoa, bourbon barrels, and some vanilla. Rich, a bit sickly but complex and well-rounded.

35,5 cl bottle @ Kultainen Apina Aroma has chocolate, some alcohol. Flavour has chocolate, alcohol, some coffee. Warming alcohol in the finish. Rich and warming, quite nice slow sipper. Perhaps a bit too strong on alcohol. Coffee is barely noticeable. 8-4-8-4-40

Bottle from Harvest. Pours a viscous, deep brown to black with a finger of brown head that lingers. Nose features espresso, molasses, bourbon and oak. More of the same on the palate with espresso syrup, oak, cocoa powder and warming bourbon. Finishes with more bourbon, baker's chocolate and espresso syrup. Very good.
