The nose is a combination of rich espresso and vanilla. It’s a full-bodied expression of the style with prominent notes of dark rum, ripe forest berries, and indulgent chocolate brownies.

Can. Pours clear reddish dark cola brown with medium light brown head. Aroma is intense roasted malt, malt syrup, blackberry wine gums, very sweet rum, vanilla and roasted coconut. Taste is very sweet and faint bitter. Body is creamy with soft carbonation. Finish is long and mostly sweet with notes of malt, syrup, honey, blackberry wine gums, vanilla and coconut

440ml can from my local Morrisons: BB 6th November 2024. Drank at home on 8th March 2024. Black bodied, thin wispy head. Sweet rum like flavours, some coffee and toffee too, nice!

44cl blik van AH. Zwarte kleur, beige kraag. Extreem veel butterscotch, vanille, sinaasappel (?!), fudge, hint van drop, zoet, melk. Erg kunstmatig dit, maar ook weer niet hee onaangenaam. Medium body op z’n best, glad mondgevoel.

Can 44 cl. Pours black with an orange hue and a tiny, creamy, beige head. Very intense, caramel, toffee, coconut aroma. Medium body, an initial milk chocolate sweetness, but not overly sweet. I don't really get rum or oak chips, but I get tons of toffee, coconut and vanilla - from the added flavorings. Quite nice. 310124

Stark vanilliger Geruch. Im Antrunk Vanille und verdammt viel Toffee, moderat herb das Malz ist dagegen erstaunlich schwach. Toffee, milder Hintergrund, wenig röstig. Ungewöhnlich! 9/9/8/8/7/8

Can that Jim bought from Morrisons - cheers! Black with a thin beige head. Coffee liqueur up front with chocolate raisins. Some rum flavouring comes through, before a cake and freshly creosoted fence panel finish. Rich, boozy and warming with my sort of flavours; I enjoyed this. The best I've had from Brewdog in a long time.

Can. Full body, medium carbonation. Lots of lactose-like fullness, lots of vanilla flavour. Sugary, medium sweetness, med-light bitterness. Quite low roast, which places this firmly out of stout territory. Only lots of toffee/vanilla, candyish, light milk chocolate and dried fruits. Hint of generic rum. Overall feels quite artificial, simple, boring.
