Tout part d’une base de Baltic Porter corpulent, avec des notes de grains caramélisés et de torréfaction intense, qui fleurent bon la brûlerie en pleine action. Après une longue fermentation de Lager et une bonne garde à froid, résulte une mousse crémeuse, une robe noire intense et un corps généreux. C’est là qu’on décide d’aller encore plus loin, avec une infusion de cacao noir et de noix de coco ! Des saveurs de chocolat noir intense et de coco délicieusement toastée viennent parfaire le tout pour une finale intense mais harmonieuse.

Malts: Malts d’orge (Maris Otter, Munich, Carabohemian Caramel, Chocolate, Pearled Black).
Hops: East Kent Golding, Magnum.

Bottle at BBT 2/2024. Med-full body, medium carbonation. Med-high bitterness, medium sweetness. Lots of chocolate, lots of candy, marshmallows, orange in chocolate. Low-key citrusy. Good, tasty, but not great, feeling a bit artificial. Also I do not get any coconut at all.

BBT 02/2024. Dark brown color with beige head. Aroma of chocolate, coconut, red fruits, nougat. Taste is dark malt, nuts, nougat, chocolate. Alcohol is well hidden.

Bottle. Malty aroma and taste, roastyness, cocoa, medium bitter. Medium to full body, malty roasty cocoa bitter sweet finish. Ok.

Bouteille 33cl, merci Willy. BB ?.
Couleur brune/cuivre, col fin blanc-cassé.
Arôme est sur les malts - caramel, crystal, fève de cacao, subtil noix de coco ainsi que pas mal de fruits noirs.
Palais est malté avec une bonne présence de booze sans être surfait, caramel, chocolat noir, pointe de cacao et de noix de coco - figue et datte. Garde ce côté classique euro au niveau des malts avec une bonne torréfaction oscillant vers le léger tourbé.
Franchement bien ficelée.

Bottle picked up from the brewery shop in Paris and consumed at home Friday 21st October 2022 listening to Afro Deutscha on 6Music we had an excellent Indian Spiced Meatballs in Curry Sauce for tea tonight. Pours opaque dark brown almost black with a fast disappearing head. A little bit boozy despite the modest abv, not really picking up much of the coconut either, bitter chocolate tick, roasty and bitter flavours tick, coconut no tick. It's okay, but I wouldn't rush to try again.
