A big West coast style IPA brewed on a base of Maris otter with kiss of crystal malt for a clean but satisfying base. Hopped heavily throughout the boil and whirlpool with mosaic, eukanot and Talus before double dry hopping with the same again. This West coast IPA hits all the right chords. Dank, tropical and proper bitterness, Drink fresh!

Can from Drankenhandel Leiden. Resinous hop aroma with malt, pine resin, some grapefruit and ripe orange. Hint of caramel, more resin. Rather bitter and mild sweet, touch of alcohol. Good West Coast resin.

Can split a the 2nd CBJ tasting, picked up from Yards & Crafts online, 31/08/23. Moderately hazed golden copper with a light off white head. Nose is grass, caramel malts, bitter orange, grapefruit. Taste comprises grapefruit, pine needle, ripe melon, orange zest, grass, toasted malts. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spike with grassy hop bitterness allied to a balanced rising boost. Tidy clean drinking DIPA.

Draught Very good, ultra-dense and -fine, absolutely regular darker off-white head over veiled orange-amber beer. Hint of cigarette ash initially. Incredibly dense head seriously hampers sniffing. Other grains, lightly toasted malts. Bitter, bit spicy, orangepeel. Slightly burnt orangerind, faint meaty esters, hints of resin. Well-bodied, some alcoholwarming, not very carbonated. Decent, but I would have wished for a bit more fireworks.
