Bottled@The 2nd ES/CS Beer Tasting. (thanks GV!). Deep brown hazy colour with a mediumsized fluffy beige head that leaves lace. Aroma is rather malty along with burnt sugar and some yeastyness. Flavour is sweet malts, dark dry fruits, some burnt sugar as well as mild toffee and yeastyness.

Dark chestnut brown. Fruity (raisin, date), phenolic, light alcohol and background phenols in the aroma. Has a sweet character, like a date and orange-infused pekmez. Perfumey finish remains quite sweet. Good, if limited beer.

[Tasting @ yespr] Hazy brown with medium beige head. Sweet aroma with ripe fruits and roasted malt. Same goes for the slightly sour flavor.

Bottled. Mahogany colour, smal head. Light coffee aroma. Sweet with clean, somewhat sharp mouthfeel. Notes of chocolate and plums. Drying lightly resiny finish. Nice flavours, but to sharp.

A dark brown ale with a thick light moka head, and huge floaties. Pleasant aroma of chocolate, soya sauce, and café moka. In mouth, a very nice roastiness, molasses, and plums, surprising. Medium bodied. BB 26-10-2006.

Bottle: Poured a dark brownalmost black with floating chunks. The head was a light brown head. The aroma and taste was liquoricish, but overall was watery and not impressive.
