Bottle from a trade with tgncc. Pours hazy golden color with huge white head. Aromas of bread dough and tropical fruits. Sweet doughy flavor with some fruitiness and spices. Light to medium body with prickly carbonation. Thanks Tom.

On Tap at the Blind Tiger Ale House, New York, 19-11-08. Labelled as Saison Deluxe 07. Pours hazy golden moving towards a very light amber with a white head. Good soft farmy nose, nice softness in the mouth. This tastes just a little sweet although it is a very decent Saison in all other respects. A nice swirl of lemonyness finishes things off marvellously. A 7 A 4 F 7 P 4 OV 14

Bottle provided by my friend, BlutoBlutarsky. A gusher. Pouurs with a large, rocky head and a hazy golden body. Good retention. Aroma is a bit sour with citrus, fruits, light spices, dryness and an earthy element. Taste is earthy with a touch of caramel sweetness. A bit husky with a mild alcohol backbone. Very lively carbonation, with a dry mouthfeel.

750 ml. Though a little too sweet, this saison has a moderately bitter backbone to add balance. Clear golden body with a large, frothy white head that slowly diminishes. The aroma contains strong notes of mildew, mold, toasted grain, clove, lemon and honey with a hint of grass. The flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter and lightly acidic. The finish is more bitter than sweet and moderately acidic with some peppery alcohol notes. Medium body with a smooth, velvety texture and lively carbonation that is fizzy on the tongue. Overall, an enjoyable, solid saison.

Bottle 75cl. @ home.Clear medium orange color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, hay, moderate hoppy, grass, grapefruit, perfume notes, moderate yeasty, farmhouse. Flavor is moderate sweet, light light acidic and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium to light, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to lively. (290608)

(6/29/08) Bottle sample at RBESG08 grand tasting in Plzen. Hazy golden with a medium white head. Aroma is slightly funky with some yeast and fruits. Sweetish fruity flavor with some yeast, light funky hints and a rather dry finish. Medium-bodied.

Courtesy of fishingnet. Pours deep gold with a bit of haze and white head. The aroma is apples nearing an orange sensation along with spice and some candi sugar. The taste is sweet apples moving into lemon tartness along with spices and yeasty notes. It ends just about bone dry with a lingering mixture of apples and lemons and faint hay.
