Yeeow! Especially for the holidays, a brown ale with real attitude! The malts used to make Warm Welcome are roasted to give a hearty amber-brown colour and a warm, rounded nutty taste. This fine ale is dedicated to all you curious brew-lovers out there who ever had serious questions about the mechanics of Santa's supposed arrival by way of the chimney.

Bottle from Booths Supermarket, Media City. Deep amber with an extremely thin head. There's a deep sweetness to it hops, with a hint of chocolate in its nose. Not a classic brown ale in style, but it works well enough.

Bottle at home, 04/02/18 a Sharon pick up at a farm shop. Rich chestnut brown with a well appointed light beige covering. Nose is earthy, dried, fruits, light spice, nutty, brow bread, malts. Taste comprises fruit loaf, tangy fruits, biscuit, grains, dusty, almost a Belgian yeast thing going down, light spice. Better than I expected ... ok winter warmer type affair.

Off white rocky head stayed on a dark copper coloured still body. Sweet malt & syrupy aroma. Medium bodied, feels thick & chewy on the palate with a cloying back - minimal carbonation. Bitter berries, sweet malt, spices & stone fruit tastes.

Tap@Taphouse, Copenhagen - brown pour with beige head. Toasted and medium roasty malty with notes of caramel and toffee, hoppy herbal and twiggy, sweet malty close.

500ml bottle from Favourite beer. Clear Amber colour with thin ran head. Aroma has malt and caramel. Taste is caramel and spice.

Reviewed from notes.
This was poured into a mug.
The appearance was a dark hazy brown color with a one finger off white foamy head that dissipated within about a minute. Nice foamy speckled lacing lingers at a nice pace down the sides of the glass.
The aroma smelled like Christmas as there was a nice multitude of ginger, allspice, cinnamon, dark chocolate, milk chocolate, light marshmallow, vanilla, light pumpkin all combined wonderfully in a very inviting sort of way.
The taste followed the nose with the chocolates really coming out on top.
On the palate, this one sat right about a medium in body. Sessionable? Not really, as I found myself sipping this more. The carbonation was extremely smooth but not watery.
Overall, wow, I’ve always loved this brown ale as an early winter beer (Christmas), I look forward to the holidays whenever I think of this beer.
