zwaar blond bier, zoetig, met in de nasmaak een fijne toets van koriander en sinaasappel; ondanks het hoge alcoholpercentage zeer goed doordrinkbaar

Brewery tap, small tasting glass. Hint of cardemom in the aroma. This comes back stronger in the flavor. Medium bodied. Warming alcohol. Flowery hops are present, but pushed back by the warming alcohol. Pleasant and powerful tripel, but I would like it a bit more balanced. Poured @ the brewery, 28.04.10. New name of the beer is Drogenap Tripel. Blonde. Cardemom in the aroma. malty spicy flavor with dried fruit and alcohol. Not too sweet, spicy aftertaste. Once again, the balance could be better.

Sampled from tap at the brewpub. Almost clear, golden amber with an off-white head. Sweetish, yeasty and very spicy aroma of mainly coriander, caramel, vanilla, honey and clove. Sweetish, yeasty and very spicy taste of coriander, caramel, vanilla, clove and honey, followed by a medium long, slightly bitter, yeasty-spicy finish. Medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Although it is very spicy and not that well-balanced, it is still pleasant to drink.

Draught, 9.1% at the brewpub. Weak spicy aroma. Hazy shiny yellow colour. Small creamy white head. The flavour is peppery and quite malty, has a little vegetable, but no more than is common in a tripel. Peppery aftertaste.

Clear golden color, medium white head. Aroma is fruity of mandarin and citrus, also bit sweet and hoppy. Fruity taste, bit sweet, sirupy texture. This is how I like a good triple to be and it turns out very nice!
