9/X/22 - 33cl bottle from Geers (Oostakker), shared @ home, BB: III/2023 (2022-1361)

Clear ruby red beer, small irregular off-white head, little stable, a bit adhesive. Aroma: oxidized, cardboard, soft acidic impression, some red fruits, cherries, meh. MF: ok carbon, medium to light body. Taste: sourish start, not too bad, pretty bitter, dry, spicy touch, cherry, some tannins. Aftertaste: a bit acidic, fruity, cherries, bitter touch, actually not bad! It smells a bit too old, but at least it’s not a sweet artificial beer.

Fles 33cl thuis. IBU15. Kers, niet te zoet, citrus, licht grainy, fruitig, licht droog, wat bloemig, klein zuurtje, licht fizzy. (25-9-2022).

Bottle, 6.5%. Mild and decent cherry aroma. Hazy deep red colour. Almost no head. The flavour has an ok cherry note, distinct but not too much. Good citric level. Refreshing, but not a great beer.
