Light pink orange from a pounder can. Nose is light maraschino cherry. First taste is ale-ish with a backbone of cherry. Not quite maraschino, more like artificial cherry if you ask me. Not sure if I'd call this a radler or a shandy, maybe more like a fruit beer of sorts. Different, seems to remind me of cherry cough medicine for some reason. Nose goes a little veggie in the middle, very weird. Not sure what to think about this mess of a brew. Yea, hah, right on the can it says its artificial flavors, who would put that on the front of the can? Well, at least its not trying to fool anybody. Decent co2 keeps your mind of the artificial aspects. In the end this is just another artificially fruity beer. There, you have it. Did not care much for this one, tho acceptable for a tik. Keep in mind I'm not one much for maraschino cherries.

$3.57 pounder from Appalachian. Pint glass at home. Hazy, cascading honey gold pour with ample head. Candied cherry with a little orange & cola syrup nose. Very faint wheat. Hearty wheat base. Itchy & starchy. Noticable extra maraschino cherry juice, it's stronger than the added Cheerwine. It makes it more fruity & less medicinal. Boozy, full bubbles, medium sweet, leaning off-dry. Follow through is definitely more orange & ham spices. Itchy, dry-ish, plenty carbed finish. This is one of the better gimmicky beers I've had. Happy 4th, kiddos.

16 oz. can, thanks to Tim. Pours a reddish, orange color, with a smallish, pink-white head. The nose is cherry cough drops and grenadine. Straw, licorice, and quinine. Sweet and sugary. Light, effervescent, and sticky. Pretty poor.

Wretched feels like a very negative term to be throwing around…so I’m going with wretched. Like a Cheerwine hard seltzer. No beer notes to speak of, just sparkly nothingness coupled with artificial Cheerwine flavor. Lordy bagordy, what a horrible beer.

Cherry (Cheerwine), wheat malt, and straw aroma. Cloudy red-golden yellow with large off-white head. Moderately sweet cherry, wheat malt, and mildly bitter straw flavor. Good body. A southern classic.
