Bottle from Dranken Vandewoude and drunk with Nelson.some hazy dirty gold colour lasting white head. Lager yeast aroma. Some white pepper white flowet hop character in the mouth. Some bitterness. Reminds me of St Georgen brau pils. Bit less drinkable. Its fine. Good flavours. Good hops. Its a decent pils. Franconia style.

4,8% ABV.

7/IX/24 - sampled @ BBP Wanderlust Beer Festival (Brussels), BB: n/a (2024-876) Thanks to my GBV buddies for sharing today’s beers!
Clear pale light straw yellow beer, practically no head. Aroma: very malty, grains, hay, cow fodder, meh. MF: ok carbon, medium to light body. Taste: soft acidity up front, a bit grassy, grains, corn, hay, watery with a hint of citrus. Aftertaste: soft bitterness, a little grassy, some marijuana, hoppy, ok but rather mediocre.

Small white rim over veiled, Champagne-coloured beer. Very herbal nose, garden weeds, bit raw; malt - bit raw as well. Quite bitter initially, but flavourwise the malt is dominant - hayish but not sweet. Finish is drier. Feels quite carbonated, bit slick, finish is a tad empty. It's mixed feelings over this one: some of its features are quite good, but in the end, all is not well integrated. Txs to Stef!

(Draught at Brussels Beer Project Dansaert, Brussels, 21 Oct 2023) Golden colour, slightly hazy, with frothy white head. Malty nose with bread, cereal, hay, grass and citrus. Malty taste with notes of bread, cereal, hay, grass, citrus and a mild grassy bitterness. Medium body, dry. Tasty and refreshing pilsener. Quite nice.

BBP's new Pilsener, brewed with barley coming from regenerative farming (and in that sense a first in Belgium); at De Geus van Gent, cheers David! Creamy and dense, snow white, membrane-lacing, moussy, firm head on a misty straw-yellow blonde robe. Aroma of freshly cut grass, raw cereals, moist white pepper, dry hay, flour, white bread, raw turnip, minerals. Crisp, dryish onset, sharply to even painfully numbing carbonation with very strong minerally effects, smooth white-bready and cereally maltiness with even a light bread crust effect - clearly this regenerative barley is meant to shine here. Some flour-like powderiness in the end along with a 'fresh' grassy hoppiness, even moving to bitter weeds, establishing a long, dry finish. Very correct and technically well-executed (northern) German-ish Pilsener, reminiscent of e.g. Dok's 13 or Senne's Zenne Pils; too bad it came overcarbonated, though, which detracts a bit from the actual flavour.
