Can 0.5l, more than two and half years aged. Seems clear, dark red to black colored. AROMA- alcohol, liquor, roasted, nuts, almonds, pralines, elderberries. FLAVOR- creamy and silky, quite sweet, moderately bitter, a bit warming, liquid pralines - nice alcohol, milk chocolate, dark chocolate, almonds. Full bodied.
Well aged, very tasty.

can. hoptimal deluxe calendar #9 dark brown, huge smooth light brown head This one is quite cold. Still, surprisingly mild aroma bordering nothing at all. faint chocolate cake, faint quad like slightly dried dark fruity boozy note, faint vanilla cake cream. Very okay aroma, but totally subdued and hard to get at. I like the quad thing. adds complexity. Flavor is roasted malts, sweetness that i can't really place - marzipan like? and faint dark chocolate, faint coffee, good rounded roasted malty and coffee bitterness in the aftertaste and at the end. The sweetness is contained and all in all you've got a very well tasting imp stout , just a little bit extra sweet notes and vanilla notes. I think the imperial stout this was built up on, would be a very fine beer by itself.

Draught at Beergeek Bar. Black colour. Stable light brown head. The flavour is sweet and sticky, but not too much. Roasted notes to balance along with a warning alcohol. Ok, it does get a bit much after a while, but still a good beer.

Tap at KEGzistence, shared with the guys. Very dark brown, blackish body. Oily malty aroma, sweet and sour, some plum jam. Sweet, soft taste, light almond, light vanilla, but sweet... too sweet, cloyingly sweet, and the adjuncts aren't that well developed - still not that bad. But not a beer I have a desire to drink more than a dl or two of.

Tap at Bombovar. Rather full body, med-high carbonation relative to style. Assertive almond, which somehow seems to increase the strength. Moderate warmth, mostly rounded, but finishes with med-light booziness. Med-high sweetness, medium bitterness. Kinda lacking in the deep roast department, is rather chocolatey, toffeeish, reinforced by the vanilla present, though rather light itself. Low coffee, assertive almondy marzipan. Overall just about good.
