330ml can. Opaque, dark brown colour with average, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, beige head. Chocolately malty and citrusy fruity, hoppy aroma, hints of milk chocolate, cocoa, mandarine, orange. Taste is slightly dry and zesty bitter, citrusy fruity hoppy, chocolately, dark malty, caramel malty as well as slightly wheat malty and yeasty fruity, notes of mandarine and orange, some orange peel, hints of milk chocolate, a touch of caramel and toffee, some banana; lingering, mildly bitter, zesty hoppy finish. Slightly creamy, watery texture, smooth and soft, minimally cloying, simultaneously minimally dry palate, fine, mildly prickly carbonation. Slightly restricted Weizenbock character, nice chocolately touch, fairly hoppy without exaggeration - quite nice.

0.33 l can from ''t Biermenneke', best before March 2024. Hazy, very dark ruby with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, off-white head. Sweetish-malty, gently fruity aroma of nuts, caramel, chocolate, overripe banana and citrusy hops. Gently sweet, malty, moderately bitter, a bit yeasty, quite fruity taste of caramel, chocolate, nuts, citrusy hops and a touch of overripe banana, followed by a short, moderately bitter finish. Medium to full body, smooth and slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Decent beer, but somehow the hops don't really match with the chocolate flavours though. Totally lacks the typical yeastiness of a classic Weizenbock, it's fairly clean overall. Enjoyable, but not really what one would expect from a Weizenbock.
