Pet Nat Cider, Season 2021
Later season bittersweet cider apples were keeved and then blended in the spring to give a lively complex well conditioned celebratory cider. Dabinett, Yarlington Mill, Sheep's Nose, Ball's Bittersweet feature heavily.
Typical Oliver's bottle conditioned cider, full of earthy tannins, a touch of bitterness in the finish and enough bubbles to keep the balance sure. Spicy tobacco tannins on the nose, with a bitter rich orange taste; both Seville and Tangerine. Full mouthfeel and long finish. Chill well to 7-10C and pour with care. Alc 5.7%.

28/6/2023. Bottle shared by danlo, cheers Ed! Pours almost clear orange amber with a small bubbly white head. Aroma is apple core, woody, funky, herbal, leafy, slightly spicy and medicinal. Medium sweetness and light tartness. Medium body, soft carbonation. Dry and bitter finish. Good.

Sample courtesy of danlo. Cheers mate. Misty deep golden appearance. Dusty woody tannic grip ruling the show here, alongside natural medium juice, quite a dry finish with firm tannic linger.

Panda at home, thanks to Ed Danlo, 08/05/23. Almost clear golden orange with an off white cap that thins to edgework. Nose is bitter apple, straw, hedgerow, dusty oak, orchard wood, vinous. Taste comprises bitter sweet apple, orchard wood, vinous trace, light caramelised apples, herb, light funk, trace of cinanmon. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close. Solid well balanced cider.

Panda 🐼 at home big thanks to Danlo. A almost clear deep orange coloured pour with a dry woody apple, flint, mellow funk, oak, vanilla. Flavour is composed of fizzy green apple, raw oak, mellow funk, mineral. mineral. Palate is nice fizzy effervescent, drying oaky tannin, light tang. Really interesting, well made.

750ml wired cork bottle from Fine Cider Co. Opened with a loud pop and a gush. Hazy orange gold colour, bubbly white foam head that slowly dissipates and aroma of fruity, apple, barnyard funk, citric, woody, earth. Taste is tangy, fruity, apple, with citrus notes, tangerine, wood barrel, sourish, funky, and drying bittersweet earthy tannins. Medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, very dry and tannic finish. Very drinkable.
