200ml bottle from Shire Meadery. Reddish purple colour, pink bubbly foam head that dissipates away and aroma of fruity melon, light honey. Taste is sweet, floral, fruit salad, tropical, honey, watermelon, with some light tartness. Medium bodied, light carbonation, drying sweet and slightly tart finish. Quite drinkable.

25cl bottle from Bottle & Barrel. Clear pale red appearance, nice sparkle, Pleasant red berry character (wouldn't have described as tropical fruits personally) perhaps a vague mead edge on the finish but not too noticeable. Fresh, light summer evening quencher.
