On tap at Wildeman in Amsterdam, November 2010. Vintage 2009. Hazy dark brown with a nice creamy tan head. Aroma of malt, dried fruit and caramel. The taste was too boozy, also a bit stale. Not exactly impressive.

Bottle: Amber to deep amber coloured, hazy, some floaties visible, smaller off-white head with a little lace; sweet roasty-coffeeish nose with a sweet-fruity background; moderate to solid sweet flavour with only a light bitterness, nearly full bodied; sweet toasty and coffeeish finish, dried fruits underneath & a little bitterness in the aftertaste. At last a non-infected brew from De Prael ! too sweet, nevertheless....
