Can. Pours light cloudy dark golden with large white head. Aroma is intense spruce, resin, bitter grapefruit, lemon and hints of melon. Taste is medium to very sweet, very bitter and light acidic. Body is oily with medium carbonation. Finish is long and mostly bitter with notes of malt, resin, grapefruit, melon, perfume, soap and dried flowers.

Can picked up from Bierkiste, München and consumed the same day at home Thursday 13th March 2025 listening to Heartworms - Glutton for Punishment and cooking a Chicken Bhuna from the Curry Guy book. I really hadn't realised that this is a different beer from the regular Atomic Torpedo, however can design different abv upped and clearly a slightly ramped up version of that beer. Pours warm gold with a mid sized white head, there's a very slight haze. Lovely soft mouthfeel, huge malt and hop hit, the malty base is typical SN, I love this (v.large can shared with Loz), hoppy fumes down the nose (retronasal). Stupidly easy drinking for a 9.2% beer. Some resinous streakiness. Lovely.

Silo. Aromas are pretty basic, slightly old resin and citrus with malt in back. Flavors are much better and similar to nose, old hops recede, tasting fresher, with good citrus and maybe some peaches. Great balance between bitter, sweet and carbonation. Full-bodied and bittersweet finish. Nice beer.

Can, 0.355l. Cloudy golden/copper pour, three finger creamy off-white head, medium retention, sticky lacing on the glass. Nose is ripe tropical fruits, caramel, pineapple, herbal notes in the background. Full body, soft carbonation. Smooth mouthfeel and texture, soft, chewy, creamy. Very nice. Balanced taste, juicy sweet with bitterness in the background. Aroma of caramel malt, ripe tropical fruits, pineapple and tangerine, citrus peel. Herbal notes, light spice. Alcohol lingering in the background. Sticky. Quite dry. Long lasting finish, juicy, bitter, dry, boozy. Quite enjoyable.

Can, 12 fl.oz. from Base Camp. Canned May 28th 2024. Hazy deeper golden body, off-white thick head. Orange jelly and herbal aroma, resinous, still holding on well. Solid body, more dry than expected, not too sweet, though the maltiness is definitely there in the background, soft, battered by the hop profile, citric, tangerine, big herbal notes as well, ending fairly dry. Need to try this fresh, it's definitely showing promise!

Fucking massive can. Sierra Nevada online. Clear pale-ish gold. Very decent lasting white foam. Menthol hoppage on top of sticky grain. Drinks stupid easy. Lengthy bitterness to finish. Six months since packaging and it’s boss.

(canned 20241023 and rated 20241130, 5+ weeks old) 12oz can pours with a crystal clear copper colored body that has thin golden hues and supports a full dirty white head of foam. The aroma offers up pine hops, grapefruit, grapefruit rind, tangerine and then a sense of the maltiness in the background. The taste delivers a blend of sweet malts and tangy citrus initially creating a fairly pleasing experience. To midway it picks up mild pine hops and at the other end of the hop spectrum a bit of soft mango and pineapple like hop flavors. It does lean on the sweeter side and would benefit with far more bitter hoppiness. Pretty nice but the sweetness does become distracting.

Stupidly large can. Pours a copper color with full head. Aromas of pine, resin, candied grapefruit, caramel and dough malts. Flavors follow same with more fruitiness and malts. But what is with the stupid big can for a high ABV beer. Beautiful beer but mines points for the packaging
