Orange zest, elderflower, butterscotch, and pine sap. Sweet and malty, with a big, smooth, resinous bitterness. Medium to heavy body, slick, and zesty. Aggressive, balanced, and tasty.

Gas station can, consumed at the beach. Fairly clean, the malts having a touch of chewiness but not a lot. Light alcohol, but less boozy than you'd expect, because there's a fair amount of bright hops, citrus, pine, a generic mix. But the balance was pretty good.

Can picked up from Bierkiste, München and consumed the same day at home Thursday 13th March 2025 listening to Heartworms - Glutton for Punishment and cooking a Chicken Bhuna from the Curry Guy book. I really hadn't realised that this is a different beer from the regular Atomic Torpedo, however can design different abv upped and clearly a slightly ramped up version of that beer. Pours warm gold with a mid sized white head, there's a very slight haze. Lovely soft mouthfeel, huge malt and hop hit, the malty base is typical SN, I love this (v.large can shared with Loz), hoppy fumes down the nose (retronasal). Stupidly easy drinking for a 9.2% beer. Some resinous streakiness. Lovely. --- Beer merged from original tick of Atomic Torpedo on 15 May 2022 at 14:01 - Score: Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 8 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 7.5. Original review text: Can picked up from Sierra Nevada Cascade Club website and consumed at Scott and Mandy's, Dumbleton, Worcestershire, Sunday 15th May 2022 listening to Booka Shade - Blaze then To the Sea, about to cook a huge T-Bone Steak. Pours copper, good clarity with a white head. Nice bittersweet balance, fruity, malty, juicy, hoppiness throughout. This is very good but I think the standard Torpedo is better.
