Bottle at this Nepali restaurant in Alkmaar, country #75. Oxidized and cardboardy, hops are nowhere to be found, unofortunately matched the quality of food too

18/5/2024. Bottle at Landshut GP beer share. Courtesy of Painy, cheers. Pours clear bright golden amber with a small frothy white head. Aroma is grainy, cereals, caramel, citrus, malt, butter. Medium plus sweetness, moderate bitterness and body. Foamy carbonation. Okay.

Ring-pull brown bottle. Clear bottling date ( 12 Feb 23). Handsome label. Clear amber with a good inch of white head that lasts pretty well. Aroma is grainy with floral and spicy notes. Light bodied, perhaps a little empty in the middle, but clean before pretty modest bitterness. Fair enough & a believably German pils.
