Can. A- Cherry, oak, funk. A- Dark red color, opaque liquid, minimal head. T- Cherry, oak. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, complex finish. O- Really lovely beer. I usually pass on Cascade because I can't afford the price of the bombers but seeing some 8oz cans for a more modest price really is awesome. Good beer.

Craft Beer Junction bottle share. Thanks to LKS for the bottle. Clear deep amber beer, no real head. Palate is light and fairly dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Tart berry fruits, blackberry and a mild blackcurrant, lesser red berries. Tart lemony and fairly dry finish. Yeah, fine, not tearing my face off but if you think this scores higher, let's see you drink a pint.

Pour is a deep dark red, almost black with a large mocha head. Aroma is cherries and oak with a little musty basement. Flavor is cherry and chocolate with red wine vinegar and some damp musty old basement. Tartness is on the back end but nothing overwhelming. Sours are really not my things but this had tons of other flavor profiles and the sourness was in the medium range. Perfect size can for this style.

Aged in barrels _and_ big barrels, huh. Can. Deep red with beige head that fades fairly fast. 3+ Aroma is vinous with cherries, strong bread, damp earth and oak. A way off dry, so the sourness and acidity are well balanced. There's a mixture of cherry and balsamic vinegar, some inky notes and then the (old) oak grips. I think next time I'd drink this at 12C+. Really good.

250 mL can poured, picked up at Special Brews, where I had my first Cascade brew about 11 years ago. First brew of 2023. Dark and dense tinted brown pour, active fizz head. Intense sour berry front. Cherry and berry, with a bold, balancing oak character. A little dry as a result, but the jam like sour fruit lasts the longest on the palate. Soft vinegar and ripe fruit nose. Sourness 8/10. Could definitely enjoy this in the old school 750 mL Cascade serving size. Excellent.

A red copper ale with a thin lacing mocha head. In aroma, sweet fruity caramel malt with loads of dark fruits, funk, lactic acid, ground cherry, very nice. In mouth, tart mix of ground cherry, light lactic notes, lemon, Epsom salts, very nice and tart.
