Bottle @ Patricks. Unclear deep golden body under a lacing white head. Spicy yeast aroma, dark malt, toffee and slightly funky. Taste is sweet malt, mild funk, harmonic spicy yeast and a floral touch. Far from the best Fantome but unusually and fun take on the saison style.

Cloudy dark amber with large head. Barnyard, nutmeg, caramel malt, and hay aroma. Mildly sweet nutmeg, black pepper, caramel malt, moderately sour barnyard, and mildly bitter fresh hay/grass flavor. Good body.

Aroma has notes of plum, oxidation, cardboard, sherry, raisin—the positives outweigh the negatives. Taste is bittersweet and lightly tart with flavors of chocolate, skunk, plum, Belgian yeast. Interesting for sure.

Röstig hefiger Beginn. Getreidig mit sehr leichter Süße im Malz, trocken, kräutrig. Weich, zum Ende kommen Brettanomyces-Noten auf, langer Abgang. Gefällt. 9/10/10/10/8/10

75cl Fles van Etre Gourmet. Amber kleur, romige, iets vuilwitte kraag. Licht funky, lichte (bewuste?) infectie die hier zeer goed werkt, licht kruidig, licht moutig, ambermout, caramel, droog, bitter. Lichte tot medium body. Lekker, had nog iets meer funk kunnen gebruiken zelfs.
