Unfiltered, slightly cloudy ale brewed with Icelandic barley and organic Icelandic thyme in honor of Snorri Sturluson, chieftain at Borg, the manor our brewery is named after. The pungent aroma of the thyme juxtaposes the fresh, fruity taste, giving Snorri a unique character.

Sampled from tap at Borefts 2018. Clear, pale golden with a white head. Sweetish, slightly sourish, gently spicy aroma of lemon peel, hay and some gooseberry. Slightly sweet, moderately bitter, gently fruity and a little herbal taste of grains, lemon peel, hay and some gooseberry, followed by a short, moderately bitter, quite dry finish. Thin to medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Okay!

33 cl bottle at Reykjavik Fish. The pour is a slight haze golden, with a smaller white head that leaves behind lace. The aroma is bready malt, and herbal. The taste is the herbal, thyme, up front than moves into the full bread malt. The palate is light to medium bodied with activa carbonation and thyme in the finish. Clean and well made.

Bottle at the Lava restaurant at the Blue Lagoon. Appearance - golden with a neat lacy head. Nose - distinctive thyme note (apparently there's arctic time in it). Also citrus over pale malt. Taste - more citrus and thyme really. Palate - a clean and crisp beer from middle to end Overall - nice ale.
