Unfiltered, slightly cloudy ale brewed with Icelandic barley and organic Icelandic thyme in honor of Snorri Sturluson, chieftain at Borg, the manor our brewery is named after. The pungent aroma of the thyme juxtaposes the fresh, fruity taste, giving Snorri a unique character.

Bottle, tak Guðmundur! yellow, mild carbonation, light haze if you get the yeast from the bottom. Citrus and light bubblegum aroma. Bready base, spice, lemongrass, sasafras. Medium body, mellow mouthfeel, ok chewyness. Fruity citruspeel and ginger aftertaste

Bottle, courtesy of KnutAlbert. It’s a clear, yellow-golden beer topped by a minimal-sized off-white head. The aroma is weak and fruity, with flower notes and orange zest. The flavor has some pale malts in the back, with orange zest, flowers and a little bitterness. Medium body, dry and nicely carbonated. Some faint bitterness in the finish. Tasteful and quenching, but I don’t think it’s a beer I’d buy again. 121130

Clear pale golden colour, white head. Aroma of candy, bubblegum, citrus and herbs. Maybe it’s the arctic thyme, though I’ve never tasted it so I can’t really say. Light sweet flavour, slightly sour citric acid, citrus and wheat. Quite fresh, finish citrus and wheat.
Nice! Bought as a 6-pack @ Reykjavik airport to finish my last krónur. I’ve spend money in worse ways I can say.

Thx. to Martinus for this one. 33 cl. bottle sampled @ RBBWG 2013. Cute moustache beer #10. Pours a milky, very hazy golden wheat colour with a white head. Smells of quite sweet wheat, rich, candy, sweet herbs and vicks. Taste is sweet herbal, flowers, vicks candy-thing, citrus, herbal with grass and flowers. Bit hazy bad, firmer carbonation. Quite like it, quirky, something else & fav. Icelandic beer so far (only 3 down).

33cl bottle sample @ RBBWG 2013, courtesy of Tinus.
