An homage to a Belgian classic, made with orange peel and coriander seeds as tradition dictates. Resting on a soft foundation provided by the yeast, you get the pithy taste from the orange peel combined with the subtle character of the spices. Refreshing and crisp, while staying calm.

(Draught at De Spuyt, Amsterdam, 11 Aug 2023) Golden colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty nose with bread, grass, wheat and clove. Malty taste with notes of bread, cereal, citrus, clove and hay. Low bitterness. Medium body, quite dry. Well balanced and refreshing wit. Quite nice.

Aus der Dose im 2023-08 getrunken. Dieses WIt hat eine weise Schaumkrone, die sofort verschwindet. Es ist fast klar golden und hat ein feines Citrus Aroma. Am Gaume kein eine sehr gut leichte Hofenbitterkeit dazu. Für ein Wit hat dieses einen überraschenden recht kräftigen Körper.

330 ml can, as Mikkeller Blanche de Mikkeller Witbier. ABV is 5.0%. Moderately hazy golden colour, large to moderate white head. Disappointing aroma of dust and stale jam. The flavour is better, citric with some acidity, orange peel and coriander seeds, noticeable hops.
