As told elsewhere, Dutch settlers brought their horses when they were invited to the barren island of Amager in 1521 by the Danish King Christian the 2nd. A lesser known fact is that they also brought their cats. The local Danish Amarikans were almost in shock, when they realized that the Dutch were keeping their cats as pets. Now THAT was something new. The Danes would poke fun at the Dutch that they would serve their pets a special diet which they called Whiskats, and brush the coats of their furry pets for hours, dressing them up with pink ribbons and what not. Naturally the Dutch were worried that their prize cats would mingle with the local wild cats, so they mostly kept them inside. This however caused a terrible degree of inbreeding, making the Dutch cats go weirder and weirder and more and more crazy by each new cat generation. And to this day Amager has the highest degree in all of Denmark of cats gone seriously cuckoo. One particular Amager location is completely taken over by a gang of crazy and now also wild cats, that clearly communicate in a Dutch accent. It’s called Pinseskoven. We recommend that you never go there. As in NEVER. Just don’t do it…

Can, 0.44l. Aroma of orange, passion fruit, ripe mango and resin. Pours hazy golden color with thin soapy off-white head and average sparkling appearance. Taste starts medium sweet biscuity, resinous and citrusy, following is ripe tropical fruity and floral, mouthfeel is smooth, while finish is average bitter. Medium to full body, oily texture and average carbonation in palate. Me too gone cuckoo…

Draft. An unclear golden beer with a yellowish head. The aroma has notes of citrus fruits, spices, hops, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of citrus fruit, hops, malt, and straw, leading to a bitter finish.

Tap at the Prague Beer Fest the first of day 2, as I finally had some moments to check out what we were peddling, hahah. Murky yellow body, white head. Sweetish aroma, a bit heavy - pineapple, some yolk, perfumey. The taste is an upgrade, mainly as the body's good and the thing overall drinkable. Pineapple, citric, lightly oaty, perfumey, some mild herbal notes that are slightly out of place and a mild bitterness. The herbal aspect somehow doesn't fit fully, but this is a very good beer!

Tap@Taphouse, Copenhagen - very hazy golden yellow with a white head. Big punchy juicy fruity aroma and taste, lots of grapefruit and pineapple, papaya, melon, substantial dense malty backbone, robust hoppy finish. Very nice.
