Bottle, huge thanks PBF pivica (and his kum) and Hrabren. Blackish body, not much head. Soft, tart, sweetish, berry, peaty, well integrated peat really. Berry tartness, soft, peat, chocolatey touches, bit rough sourness-wise, but the blackcurrant juice-peat combo works a fair bit flavor-wise. Quality stuff!

0.375 l bottle thanks to godfather Buljan who brought it from Barcelona and PBF_pivica for sharing with prof. Pryzbylewski, Marko and myself. Oily dark brown to black, minimal head. Aroma is intense dark fruit, prunes, vinous, heavy dark red wine, aceto balsamico. Peated smoke. Glue. A touch of alcohol. Dried fruit, prunes and figs. Oily but kind of drinkable, very dry, tannic, barrel, plastic and smokey phenols. Intensely sour. Puckering, smooth, juicy, slightly sticky. Sour black currant. Quite easy to drink, not heavy, not tiring in any way. Complex, tasty, nicely done.

Aus der Flasche (bbe 30.10.2025) im 2022-06 getrunken. Hier steigt man mit einem echte Schwergewichts Herausforderer in den Ring. Dieses Ale überrascht mit 2 schnellen Geraden und schickt einen, wenn man sich nicht auf dieses ungegöhnliche Aromakomposition anpaßt, einen schnell auf die Bretter. Die ungewöhnliche Kombination von Kirschen, Weinessig, nasser Aschenbecher und dunkler Schokolade ist einfach sehr herausfordernd. Ich habe bis zum 4.Schluck gebraucht um mich auf diese, dann doch spannende Aroma-Achterbahn einzulassen. Ein richtig spannendes Bier, was ich aber auch gleichzeit nicht so schnell wieder im Glas brauche. Es war aber dennoch ganz klar eine positive Entdeckung im Glas, die ich nicht so schnell vergessen werde!

Aroma of peated whisky, sour berries. Taste is slightly sour, uidine, wood, charcoal, ash, whisky, chocolate, dark fruits, tart cherries, this is not for the faint of heart.
