0,5 l bottle BB 01/27. Cloudy brown in the glass with a light tanned and stable nearly two finger head. Sweet malty aroma, yeast and low fruity elements. Taste starts banana and orange fruity, increasing malty and yeast, low sulfur. Increasing bitterness to the end. Mid carbonated for a Hefeweizen.

Pint can. Pours a clear brown color with a big foamy off white head. The aroma is somewhat subdued with grains and some fruity esters. The taste, unlike the aroma, is a big blast of bananas with perhaps a trace of clove. The palate is full and crisp. Finishes long with lingering banana. Overall: More than decent--possibly the best example of this style.

Amber pour. Thin foamy head around the glass. Scattered lace. Sweet nutty malt, pecan flavor, with wood palate. Full bodied. Nice.

50 cl bottle at biergarten in Nuremberg. Dark hazy colour with medium head. Fruity wheat and not so overwhelming banana and clove flavour.

Bottled. Not much of an aroma at all. Pours a darker brown for a dunkelweizen. smallish head. Some fruit tasting and a good yeast flavor.

Toasted banana bread and clove aroma, brown color with a thick creamy head. A little less sweet wheat flavor than typical Hefeweizen., more roasted woody malt taste. Creamy mouthfeel. Little funky bite at the end.
