Ja, ja, ja, was ist los, was ist das? Je verdrinkt in aroma’s van bananenschuimpjes en kruidnagel. De smaak is tarwe-achtig, vol en romig. Zacht, zoetzuur en vol fruitige en kruidige smaken. It’s a treacherous treat!

Can from a local bottle shop. Aroma is sweet candied banana. Bit spicy with clove, yeast. Long banana finish. Just above medium body. Robust and sweet, rich. Likeable.

33cl Blik. Troebel diepgouden kleur, witte kraag. Zoet, banaan, licht kruidig, tarwe, hint van citrus, vol, licht alcoholisch, romig, zoete finish met een klein bittertje. Medium tot volle body. Smaakvol.

33 cl. can @ home, bought @ Kulenborgse Bierhandel. Hazy dark golden with a white head. Banana and cloves aroma. Sweet taste with a sweet finish. A bit weird but certainly enjoyable.

Thuis uit een blikje. Licht troebel, goudgeel van kleur. Aroma duidelijk banaan. Smaak prima, licht kruidig en ook weer banaan. Gevaarlijk goedje, je hebt nauwelijks door dat dit 8,5% is. Lekker, prima weizen.

330ml can. Cloudy, yellow-ish, golden colour with average, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, white head. Wheaty malty, yeasty fruity and slightly yeasty spicy aroma, hints of banana, dried banana, some clove, a bready and leafy touch. Taste is sweet-ish, wheaty malty and yeasty fruity, slightly fruity hoppy, minimally yeasty spicy, hints of banana, pear, apple, some clove, a touch of cinnamon and nutmeg, mustard seed. Slightly creamy, watery texture, smooth and soft palate, medium, mildly prickly carbonation. A tad disharmonious, a tad too spicy (not absolutely, but in relation to body and fruitiness) - not fully convincing.

0.33 l can from 'Smaakhuis.nl', best before January 2024. Hazy, golden with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, malty, rather yeasty-spicy and a bit fruity aroma of banana, clove, vanilla and some honey. Quite sweet, malty, fairly yeasty-spicy and a bit fruity taste of massive banana, clove, vanilla, honey and light lemon peel, followed by a short, moderately bitter finish. Medium to full body, smooth but quite effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Tasty Weizenbock, classic interpretation, well-brewed. Definitely one of the better ones from outside Bavaria.
