Malty aroma with apricot. Sweetish malty flavor. Somewhat dusty, peach. A bit alcoholic and sugary. Very light bitter and fruity (peach from the tin) aftertaste.

The ’real’, i.e. blonde, triple in the ADA series, with a thick, mousse-like, off-white, sticky head and golden blonde colour with an orange glow, misty. Aroma of cara malts and subdued fruitiness, hints of peach, honey, grass, old cheese, orange peel, yoghurt, bread dough, chamomille; tastes light fruity, malty, a bit citrussy, light carbonisation, smooth mouthfeel with subtle spiciness (coriander?), gentle finish with just enough hops to balance, alcohol well hidden. Nothing out of the ordinary, nothing particularly delicious or exciting, just an average standard abbey triple.

8/II/13 - 33cl bottle from Willems (Grobbendonk) @ home - BB: 5/X/13 (2013-143) Thanks to Erwin for sharing the bottle!
Little cloudy pale yellow beer, irregular fizzy off-white head, unstable, adhesive, nice lacing. Aroma: very sweet, dish washing product, artificial lemon, quite some banana. MF: ok carbon, light to medium body. Taste: pretty bitter, grassy, sugar, caramel, hint of chocolate. Aftertaste: banana, bit yeasty, bitter. Downhill again...

Color and body are right on target for an abbey tripel. Taste of coriander and anise and honey, mild sweetness and bitterness. Nice flavor and mouthfeel.

33cl bottle @ home. Clear yellow / golden color, full sized creamy white head that lasts for a long time. Smell malts, wheat, lightly yeasty. Taste malts, light to moderately yeasty, smooth bitterness, hint of fruityness, probably apple and the seeds of a kiwi (not sure that’s the English word for it). Medium to full arbo, medium body, lightly sticky texture.

Bottle, 8%. Mild yeasty aroma. Hazy golden colour. Small white head. The flavour starts off with a bit of yeast, then turns slightly malty, and later grainy and a bit rough. All in all an OK balanced beer, though.
