Bottle from Rewe Bamberg and drunk with Nelson. Clear mid brown colour lasting beige head. Malty. Yes. Some amber and brown malt flavours. It's good in the mouth acceptable. Some hop sting on the finish. Yes drinkable enough. Would happily have a few of these.

Pour is light brown with reddish hints. At most two fingers of large-bubbled off-white head, which shows good enough retention and a bit of lacing. A not too intense aroma shows a mainly sweet base of caramel and slightly nutty malts, with some dark bread notes too. There's also a light fruity undernote (dark fruits, though i couldn't pick up anything specific). A little brighter in taste with a quite sweet malty base as the aroma suggested. Same notes as per aroma, with fruitiness now a bit more vivid (dark fruits, plum maybe most noticeable). Medium sweetness and low to medium bitterness, with a sweet mouthfeel and a balanced, semi-dry finish. Quite light in body with average or slightly sub-average carbonation (possibly a tad higher than style standard). Overall a classicly easy but decently soft mouthfeel. Failed to impress me in some specific way. But still an enjoyable, very classic dunkel.

500ml bottle. Slightly cloudy, dark amber colour with small, frothy to creamy, diminishing, white head. Mellow malty and slightly fruity aroma, hints of plum and malt lozenge. Taste is sweet-ish, dark and caramel malty, slightly fruity, mildly bitter, hoppy counterpart with a metallic touch, hints of plum, malt lozenge, nutty overtones. Watery texture, smooth and soft, simultaneously slightly repellent palate, fine, soft, mildly prickly carbonation. Not the most typical Dunkel, nice plum flavours, sadly a tad metallic, overall rather light - OK.

Brauerei Dremel - Dunkles, Flasche vom Landbierparadies24. (7.7.2021.)

Gift from the brewer. Tap, the brewery doesn’t bottle anymore. Malty coffee aroma and flavor. Strong barnyard smell. Bitter, caramelly aftertaste. Hazy dark color. Very interesting beer from this tiny village brewery. Bottle tasted more than 10 years later. Brown color. Caramel aroma with some grassy hops. Malty sweetish flavor with caramel and milk chocolate. Bready, sticky mouthfeel. Pleasant.

Dunkler, mild süß-getreidiger Beginn. Angenehm röstig, minimal bitter, spritzig. Rund würzig, langer Nachhall. Gut. 10/9/10/10//10
